As the sailing center of China, even common people in Qingdao look forward to some real action on the waves, especially in summer. In that case, there are several big yacht clubs in the city, and Yinhai International Yacht Club is the biggest one here.
Yinhai is one of the very important project of Qingdao and 2008 Olympic project, which is membership club with a set of comprehensive facilities, and invested 300 million RMB by Yinhai Group in Qingdao.
The club locates in the central part of the city’s golden costline, thus ensuring its superior geographical location. It owns land area of about 80 thousand square meters, and sea area of about 87 thousand square meters, with 366 normal yacht berths from 8-meter to 40-meter, as well as first-class facilities for charging, fresh water filling, refueling, travel lift and maintenance ties. Currently, lots of yacht dealers supply 40 different brands’ yacht on sale in Yinhai.
According to the yacht club, more and more common people in Qingdao try sailing as the International Regatta nearer. During this July, there were more than 200 people enjoying sailing here on average each day. Many parents brought their child to the club, wishing them to learn some skill, or even train them to be professional athletes.
