Cereal stands test of time

Some cereals produced some 2,000 years ago were found on Monday in an ancient tomb in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province.

According to Xi'an archaeologists with Xi'an Municipal Heritage Administration Bureau, the cereals were kept in good condition in a pottery container discovered in a tomb of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24). A total of 12 relics were found in the tomb.
