A Taiwan burglar turned to the wrong expert to evaluate the jade objects he had stolen.

The jade dealer, surnamed Liao, happened to be the victim of the crime - losing jade objects valued at several million Taiwan dollars from his home last month.

When Liao was asked several days ago to appraise the jade items, he immediately recognized them as his own.

Police raided the man's residence and discovered more jade. The man is currently under investigation.
