Policemen freed an injured gazella subgutturosa after treating its wounds on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in Hami. [ Xinjiang Daily]

A gazella subgutturosa has been released into the wild by policemen on Wednesday in Hami, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Xinjiang Daily reported this gazella fell into a ditch while drinking water from it. Its limbs were hurt and it required the assistance of passers-by to rescue it.

Local Police has freed the animal after treating its wounds.
