A letter written by primary school students has drawn wide attention from the media and public because it was written to Premier Wen Jiabao.

The letter was written by students from Binjiang Primary School in Ganzhou in east China's Jiangxi province. It was delivered by their headmistress Liu Yanqiong to the premier when she attended the fifth session of the 10th National People's Congress, or NPC, China's top legislature.

In his reply, the premier hoped the pupils will grow well.
