Cheering squad cheer for their team during a large-scale tug-of-war in Lintan County, northwest China's Gansu Province on March 3, a day before the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival. Tens of thousands of local residents participated the tug-of-war, using a 1,808-meter-long steel rope which weighs eight tons.
