Chinese businessmen bombed in Russia

Two Chinese business men were attacked with a grenade in an eastern Russia city early yesterday, leaving one dead and the other injured, said Cui Shaochun, vice consul of the Consulate General of China in Khabarovsk.

An unidentified person threw a grenade towards the two businessmen at 2am yesterday on a street in Chita, a city in Siberia, Cui said.

Cui said they still don't know the identities of the two Chinese men.

Local police said one Chinese man was killed on scene and the other is still in hospital.

The police are seeking the attacker.
