The State Council, or China's central government, appointed Fanny Law Fan Chiu-fun to be Hong Kong's new commissioner of Independent Commission against Corruption.

Mrs. Fanny Law Fan Chiu-fun, born in 1953, replaces Raymond Wong Hung-chiu as Hong Kong's top anti-corruption official of the region with the nomination of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam-kuen.
