Inauguration of Cambodia's military hospital clinic built with Chinese assistance

staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, Liang Guanglie, attended an
inauguration ceremony of a clinic building for the Cambodian army's general
hospital here on Monday.
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Co-Minister of Defense Tea Banh also
attended the ceremony.
"China and Cambodia are friendly neighbors. We enjoy mutual support and
understanding, treat each other at an equal footing, and have carried out much
cooperation in the political, economic and military fields. The inauguration of
the clinic is just another example of our friendship," said Liang.
China expects the general hospital to contribute more to the military staff
members with the new clinic, which is built and equipped with Chinese
assistance, he added.
Meanwhile, Banh said that the inauguration of the clinic will surely help
promote the growth of bilateral ties.
The multi-story building has over 5,000 square meters of office space and can
provide the latest technology of medical treatment.
Liang arrived here on Saturday night on the first stop of his goodwill Asia
tour which also includes Laos, Myanmar and Thailand.
On Monday, he also met with Prime Minister Hun Sen to discuss bilateral ties.
Liang will leave for Laos on Tuesday
