Chen Bingde, commander-in-chief of China's space program, said early Monday morning that China's second manned space flight is a complete success after the Shenzhou-6 re-entry capsule landed safely in north China.

Chen announced the cheerful news at the Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center, receiving loud applause from the staff.

Chinese top leaders including Wu Bangguo watched the landing at the center.
