South Korea's new "weapon" Lee Joon-ki, who rocketed to stardom after playing an effeminate court jester in the country'smost viewed film King and the Clown, came to Shanghai last week and talked with his Chinese fans online. Lee said that he has seen many Chinese films before and wants to cooperate with Chinese director Chen Kaige in the future.

Chinese media have compared Lee to Leslie Cheung (Farewell My Concubine). This is the first time the pop idol had come to China. He will perform at the Spring Festival gala of Shanghai's Dragon TV.
