Oscar-winning director Ang Lee is set to direct his first romantic comedy after he finishes Lust, Caution. Cameron Diaz and Jim Carrey will star in A Little Game, a big-screen adaptation of the French play, A Little Game of Consequence. It tells the story of a couple who pretend to call off their marriage so they can discover what their friends really think of their relationship.

The film will be Ang Lee's third collaboration with the Focus Features production company, after Brokeback Mountain and Lust, Caution. The film will play on Ang Lee's strength, namely, his ability to explore the internal world of his characters.
