Alibaba's sampling inspection procedures revealed

Alibaba has spent more than 100 million yuan ($15.22 million) per year, inspecting over 100,000 pieces of goods purchased across all the platforms, he revealed. It has formed systematic sampling inspection procedures and built a mechanism which identifies tracks and conducts sampling checks on sub-standard goods, based on big data modeling. It has also introduced a set of punishment rules for disqualified goods and stores.

Now, Alibaba's quality inspection network has taken shape across the country, with more than ten nationally-certified inspection institutions working as quality control service providers.
