Hong Kong stocks went up 28.48 points, or 0.12 percent, to close at 23,786.30 on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,861.22 and 23,698.38.

Turnover totaled HK$77.11 billion (about $9.92 billion).
