The drive units combine a particularly fuel-efficient three-cylinder turbodiesel with an electric motor on the front and rear axles, which together provide a top speed limited electronically of 250 km/h.

It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle is 3.76 liters/100 km with a carbon dioxide emission rating of 99 grams per km.

Carbon dioxide emission management is even more outstanding when driving in the all-electric mode. Including all emissions in the generation of electricity, the car's carbon dioxide rating is just 50 grams per km.
