China telecom network solutions firm, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, said it has won a GSM expansion contract with China Mobile - the country's largest mobile services provider - worth approximately US$700 million.

Under the agreement, Huawei said it will expand China Mobile's GSM coverage in 30 provinces in China, including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu and Shandong, with the deployment of GSM core and radio products and services.
