Legend Holdings, the parent of computer maker Lenovo Group, has offered to buy a majority stake in Hong Kong-listed China Pharmaceutical Group, the South China Morning Post reported, citing a company spokesperson.

The size of the proposed acquisition and other financial details were not provided.

Lenovo is currently the world's third largest PC maker.
