1. Project Background
Qixian (Seven Fairies) Mountain State Hot Spring and Forest Park is located
in Baoting Li and Miao Ethnic Group Autonomous County that is in the central and
south part of Hainan and at the foot of the south of Wuzhi Mountain. Being 76
kilometers away from the international tourism city Sanya in the south and 39
kilometers away from the famous mountain city Wu Zhishan City in the north, it
is a preferential project for development of hot spring recuperation tourism
determined by the general planning of Hainan¡¯s tourism industry. There are rare
hot spring groups in the country with high temperature and sodium silicate water
is a kind of ideal mineral water for medical use. The 1126m-high Qixian Mountain
can be seen in the cloud sometimes and is just like seven fairy maidens coming
down to earth. With the natural hot spring, precipitous peak, beautiful legend,
primitive tropical rainforest, splashing waterfall, running brook, strong Li and
Miao culture and field views, it seems that you¡¯re entering a haven of
peace.
The planned area of this area is 22 square kilometers, and it is divided into
preservation area, buffer area and development area. The preservation area
focuses on the preservation of natural ecologic environment, and only few
tourism projects such as climbing mountain service area, sightseeing area and
ecological road for walking are arranged. The buffer area is green buffer zone.
The development area is located in the area surrounding hot spring lake and
Yuanyang River, it is the core part of this ecologic tourism vacation area,
including hot spring vacation area, Li and Miao culture village and commercial
service center.
With the high-quality views and hot spring of Qixian Mountain, a superior hot
spring recuperation and vacation area will be developed to attract high-income
tourists for recuperation from home and abroad.
2. Construction Site
It is located in the land No. 2 (183 mu) and land No. 6 (100 mu) of Qixian
Mountain Tourism Area. The supply of water, power, road and communication is
available and conditions for development are favorable.
3. Construction Content
1) Villa-style resort hotel: the number of bed is 200-300, the construction
style is Japanese style, European style and field style. The view is mainly
tropical rain forest plant.
2) Professional rehabilitation and recuperation center.
a) Hot spring recuperation center: traditional Chinese medicine (south
medicine) hot spring bar, Japanese and European style soup bar (SPA), hot spring
flower bath, hot spring mud bath, hot spring massage bath etc.
b) Traditional Chinese medicine massage center: massage, physiotherapy,
acupuncture etc.
c) Qigong, Yoga training club etc.
3) Tropical wild vegetable medical food center
4. Investment Estimate
It is estimated that the investment in land No. 2 is 80 million yuan, and
land No. 6 is 50 million yuan.
5. Prospect Analysis
With the vigorous development of Hainan¡¯s tourism industry and the opening up
of the 3rd, 4th and 5th flight right, there are more and more tourists coming to
Baoting Qixian Mountain Hot Spring Tourism Area for climbing mountain, soaking
in the hot spring, vacationing and recreating. However, the number of beds of
the current 5 hotels is less than 300, the limited reception capacity cannot
meet the requirement of middle and high income tourists. The development of this
project will enrich the product structure of Hainan¡¯s tourism industry, promote
the product level of Hainan¡¯s tropical hot spring recuperation tourism, which
conforms to the international development trend of vacation and recreation
tourism, and the future is promising.
