Indonesian students come to the 2026 Indonesia HSK study in China and career expo in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, on Sunday to consult about learning Mandarin and studying in China. More than 20 Chinese universities, including Peking University, presented Indonesian students with study options in China. The number of candidates taking the Chinese Proficiency Test has grown at an average annual rate of 20 percent, reaching over 818,000 worldwide in 2025.
