Emergency supplies, prefabricated houses reach quake-hit Xizang township

Emergency supplies and temporary housing are reaching residents in Gangchen township, one of the hardest-hit areas following Thursday night's magnitude-7.0 earthquake in Drachen county, Nagchu, Xizang autonomous region.
China Railway 21st Bureau Group has delivered warm clothing, instant noodles, bottled water and tents to affected residents. Fourteen prefabricated housing units have arrived, with installation set to begin, while another 20 are expected Sunday night, Tian Lihua, Party branch secretary of the company's Lalin regional division, said.
