ByteDance sets up AI safety team, launches global hiring drive

ByteDance’s AI research unit Seed has established an Alignment & Preparedness team dedicated to AI safety research and kicked off a global recruitment drive to hire 10 top researchers, according to an announcement from Seed.
The team will work on large-model alignment, risk evaluation and mitigation for advanced AI systems, with bases in Beijing, Shanghai and San Jose.
