Fu Cong on behalf of 28 countries at UN: UCMs are a major source of international turbulence and disorder

On Oct 1, the Third Committee of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly convened at UN headquarters in New York. Fu Cong, China’s permanent representative to the UN, delivered a joint statement on unilateral coercive measures (UCMs) on behalf of 28 countries. He said UCMs are a major source of international turbulence and disorder, calling on the international community to strengthen solidarity and cooperation and firmly reject the practice.
