The global main event of the 2026 World Cleanup Day Conference recently concluded in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, marking the first time the conference's flagship global session has been held in China.

State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company delivered all-round power support for the event in strict accordance with power guarantee standards applied for the Asian Games, successfully fulfilling its full-cycle power supply tasks.

To meet tailored power consumption demands for main venues and core visiting routes, State Grid Zhejiang took the initiative to coordinate with the event organizing committee. It formulated a comprehensive power guarantee plan together with specialized sub-plans, covering 22 key power facilities and 25 substations supported by 46 dedicated power lines, with elaborate emergency response mechanisms fully established.

The company conducted thorough special inspections, including infrared temperature testing, load evaluation and hidden danger checks on power lines, transformer and distribution equipment, as well as on-site electrical facilities. It also collaborated closely with venue operators to complete power switching tests, UPS load verification and risk assessment for lighting systems.

During the conference, power staff implemented stringent hierarchical and categorized control throughout key sessions including the opening ceremony, keynote forums and guest visiting arrangements.

A total of 566 working personnel and 194 support vehicles were deployed to maintain uninterrupted on-site duty for the entire event. The intelligent power guarantee command platform integrates real-time data of substations, power lines, distribution rooms, staff, materials and vehicles. It enables 24/7 monitoring of load fluctuations, equipment operation and line conditions, supporting one-map visualized dispatch and precise command.

A multi-dimensional inspection system — combining drone aerial patrols, manual detailed inspections and intelligent device autonomous monitoring — ensures full-coverage, round-the-clock oversight of critical power lines and key equipment, delivering solid and reliable power guarantee for the successful running of the international conference.
