Huawei unveils new Luxeed car model

Huawei Technologies Co has unveiled its latest Luxeed RX, developed in cooperation with Chinese automaker Chery Automobile, which the companies said is the only model in the 300,000-yuan ($44,700) price segment to feature a level 3 autonomous driving architecture.

Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s executive director, and chairman of its terminal business group, said as of September 16, 2026, Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance had delivered more than 1.55 million vehicles, the fastest pace among emerging brands. Its assisted driving mileage has exceeded 12.19 billion kilometers.

Yin Tongyue, chairman of Chery Automobile, said Luxeed has achieved breakthroughs in smart manufacturing, products and scale since launching its 2.0 brand strategy, with cumulative deliveries across the lineup approaching 200,000 units. He said the Luxeed RX is built for driving enthusiasts, delivering both intelligence and driving pleasure.
