HSR building facilities checked

To ensure the safe operation of the newly built Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-speed Railway, railway operators sent staff to thoroughly check building facilities. Staffers from Datong Housing and Construction Apartment Section in Shanxi province launched static acceptance of the HSR's building works within the section under China Railway Taiyuan Group. Seven groups, with 28 professionals, checked the physical works including station building structures, canopy facilities and electrical equipment.

Yuan strengthens against greenback

The central parity rate of the yuan strengthened 90 pips to 6.7399 against the US dollar on Monday, said the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.
