Chinese smart equipment powers Tajikistan's edible oil industry

A newly built edible oil plant in the Bobojon Gafurov district of Tajikistan’s Sughd region was recently inaugurated, with President Emomali Rahmon attending the ceremony. Equipped with fully intelligent production lines supplied by Chinese intelligent equipment maker Newamstar, the facility stands as a key industrial inauguration project.

The state-of-the-art plant is supported by three fully automated edible oil production lines independently developed and customized by Newamstar. Tailored to local climatic conditions, regional processing characteristics, local packaging specifications and national safety standards, the intelligent lines feature outstanding automation levels and stable operational performance. Designed to support large-scale, standardized grain and oil processing, the facility is capable of producing up to 200 tons of sunflower oil, cottonseed oil and blended edible oil daily, effectively filling the gap in Tajikistan's modern edible oil manufacturing capacity.
