China calls for open, inclusive AI development for good

China believes all parties should work together to promote the open, inclusive and universally beneficial development of artificial intelligence and ensure that AI is developed for good, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday.

Guo made the remarks when asked about AI governance and possible discussions on the issue between the leaders of China and the United States.

China has repeatedly stated its position on artificial intelligence, Guo said.
