To further enhance the ability of transmission lines to withstand severe weather conditions such as typhoons and heavy storms, employees from State Grid Baoying in Jiangsu province carry out reinforcement work on 30 aging towers with extended service life along six transmission lines within its jurisdiction. By replacing corroded components, reinforcing tower foundations and tightening connecting bolts, the measures effectively eliminate equipment hazards, strengthening the safety of the power grid.
