Premier to attend launch ceremony of 5th Global Digital Trade Expo

Premier Li Qiang will attend the launch ceremony of the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo and related activities, and deliver a speech, according to Ministry of Commerce spokesman He Yadong.

The event will be held from Wednesday to Sunday in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province.

Deeper Sino-Indonesian cooperation highlighted

Wang Huning, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, China's top political advisory body, met with Ahmad Muzani, chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia, in Beijing on Monday.

Wang expressed the nation's willingness to work with Indonesia to deepen all-around strategic cooperation and enhance exchanges on governance experience.

Muzani reaffirmed Indonesia's commitment to the one-China policy, and expressed the hope to deepen practical cooperation with China in various fields.

Stable China-Australia ties stressed

Vice-President Han Zheng met with Australia's Speaker of the House of Representatives Milton Dick in Beijing on Monday.

China is ready to work with Australia to enhance strategic communication and multilateral coordination, and promote the building of a more mature, stable and productive China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership, Han said.

Noting Australia attaches great importance to ties with China and adheres to the one-China policy, Dick said the Australian House of Representatives is willing to strengthen dialogue and exchanges with the Chinese side.
