Vivo doubles down on AI strategy
Chinese tech company Vivo is doubling down on its artificial intelligence strategy, unveiling its self-developed large language model and progress in ecosystem cooperation, security and human-centric design.
Marking the ninth edition of the company’s developer conference held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, Vivo reported that its overseas shipments continued to break records over the past year, with key markets achieving multiple-fold growth.
Upholding its "More Local, More Global" philosophy, Vivo has deepened its five core BlueTech pillars: chips, imaging, battery life, large language models and operating system.
Shi Yujian, senior vice-president and CTO of Vivo, said that amid the AI wave, the company will reconstruct the system experience through personalized intelligence, enabling AI to understand user intent, remember preferences and perceive context. "Intelligence should truly belong to the individual," he said.
As large language models grow more capable, the AI race is shifting from technical prowess to genuinely serving every user, Vivo said. The BlueLM strategy now advances personalized intelligence through complicated framework, introducing the new personal AI assistant BlueLM V.
