Over 2,000 exhibitors showcase meat products at Qingdao exhibition
The 24th China International Meat Industry Exhibition ran from Saturday to Monday in Qingdao, Shandong province, bringing together more than 2,000 exhibitors from home and abroad.
The massive exhibition showcased the latest products, technologies, processing techniques, and solutions across the meat industry, from fresh pork, beef, lamb, and poultry to processed meat products and meat-processing ingredients, according to organizers.
Major domestic and international companies presented their latest offerings, while intelligent equipment and technologies took center stage. The exhibition featured smart slaughtering and processing equipment, food packaging machinery, and new materials, as well as green technologies for environmental protection and harmless waste treatment.
The event also highlighted the growing use of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big-data traceability, and digital management in meat production and processing, demonstrating an industry shift from traditional manual operations toward greater automation and digitalization.
A production-marketing matchmaking event for premium agricultural products was also held, bringing together more than 6,000 featured agricultural products from over 30 provinces and regions. The event provided a platform for product display, business matchmaking, and promotion to connect producers and buyers across China and international markets.
