The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable smartphone, was developed, trial-produced and assembled exclusively in China, Iris Cui, vice-president of Asia procurement and operations at Apple, said Thursday at a roundtable between the National Development and Reform Commission and US multinational enterprises.
More than 80 percent of Apple's 200 major suppliers worldwide have manufacturing facilities in China, she added.
