China marks milestone in advanced agricultural machinery

China is making major breakthroughs in high-end agricultural machinery. Once heavily dependent on imported power-shift and Continuously Variable Transmission technologies, China now has its own 450-horsepower CVT tractor, developed and produced by YTO Group.

Self-driving tractors have also completed R&D and could see large-scale adoption within the next five to 10 years.

Meanwhile, smart manufacturing and digital factories are boosting production efficiency.

YTO's Dongfanghong agricultural machinery is now exported to more than 100 countries and regions, with exports continuing to grow.
