A giant rice-field painting attracts visitors in the paddies of Pingyuan village, Anshun, Guizhou province, on Sunday. Five such artworks are created by carefully interplanting rice seedlings of different colors to form images including galloping horses, a wave-riding scene, peonies in full bloom, Super Mario and a dragon soaring along the Great Wall. Visitors can ride a small train through the rice fields and enjoy activities such as rice-paddy fishing and agricultural study tours. QIN GANG/FOR CHINA DAILY
