Four-day sailing regatta in Dalian draws 50,000 spectators

The four-day 2026 Dalian Cup Sailing Regatta concluded on Sunday at the Chuanqi Sports Coast in Dalian, Liaoning province, drawing 210 sailors from 35 teams nationwide.
The competition is a premier platform for domestic sailors and serves as a window for Dalian to promote marine sports and showcase its coastal charm to a wider audience.
According to the organizing committee, more than 50,000 residents and tourists lined the shoreline during the event, with single-day spectator numbers peaking at over 10,000.
