News editor slams false Western reporting on Nepal mudslide

Sharachchandra Bhadary, editor-in-chief of the Official News Agency of Nepal, has worked in journalism for 30 years and visited China more than 25 times. Responding to recent false reports by some Western media outlets concerning the mudslide disaster in Nepal, he said in an interview with China Daily Youth Channel: "Falsehoods and smears do not work! The most fundamental requirement of journalism is to seek truth from facts!"
