Vice-Premier Ding Xuexiang on Thursday called for efforts to consolidate cooperation in processing and manufacturing as well as engineering and infrastructure, while expanding practical cooperation in green industries, the digital economy and other areas.

Ding made the remarks in Vladivostok, Russia, while co-chairing the 13th meeting of the China-Russia Investment Cooperation Committee with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

To further deepen bilateral cooperation, Ding called for stronger planning and policy guidance, closer industrial coordination and project promotion, and joint efforts to support enterprises from both countries in continuously deepening investment cooperation.

He also stressed the need to advance key projects and deliver tangible results, while further increasing the scale and improving the quality of bilateral investment cooperation.

Efforts should also be made to address prominent difficulties, properly respond to the practical concerns of businesses from both countries, and jointly foster a more favorable business environment, Ding said.

Manturov said Russia is ready to take measures to address the concerns of Chinese enterprises and provide convenient and predictable conditions for them to invest and operate in Russia.

He added that Russia is willing to steadily advance key projects and ensure they take root, so that the outcomes of cooperation can better benefit the two countries and their peoples.
