Manus resumes operations as independent company

AI agent developer Manus said on Tuesday that it has formally resumed operations as an independent company, with its founding team remaining at the helm.

Founder Xiao Hong, co-founder Zhang Tao and chief scientist Ji Yichao will continue to lead the company, according to Manus. The company said it remains focused on product innovation and advancing general-purpose AI agents for users worldwide.

Manus said its next generation of products will move beyond responding to users' instructions, becoming more deeply integrated into everyday workflows, interacting more directly with the outside world and taking actions more proactively on users' behalf.
