China's second batch of urgent relief supplies, including drones, DNA testing equipment and reagents, water purification systems and lighting equipment, is expected to depart for Nepal on Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a regular news briefing.

Chinese DNA identification experts will also head to the front line of the disaster zone to assist Nepal's work, Guo said.

"China will stand firmly with Nepal and work hand in hand to overcome the difficulties together, demonstrating our traditional neighborly friendship through concrete actions," Guo said.

Providing emergency assistance to Nepal's disaster-hit areas and carrying out international rescue cooperation is an important political decision made by China, reflecting its friendship toward Nepal, he added.
