Cosmo Lady rides high on the back of e-commerce
The e-commerce business has become the core growth engine for Dongguan-based Cosmo Lady, one of China's leading lingerie companies, according to the company's interim results for the first half of 2026.
The company's e-commerce gross merchandise volume reached 2.73 billion yuan ($410 million) in the first half of the year, marking a 69.6 percent year-on-year increase and a three-year compound annual growth rate of about 141 percent.
Rankings of its sales on major e-commerce platforms such as Tmall, JD.com, Douyin and Vipshop have risen significantly, according to the report.
The company continuously advanced its brand upgrades, optimized its product structure and transformed channels in the first six months of the year, helping significantly enhancing the profitability of its core business.
In the first half of 2026, the Hong Kong-listed company recorded a gross margin of 51.4 percent, up by 5.0 percentage points year-over-year.
