All Chinese nationals who have been contacted in the disaster-hit area in Nepal have been safely relocated and accommodated as of noon Sunday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Monday.
Guo made the remarks at a regular news briefing in response to a question about the severe mudslide disaster that recently struck areas near the China-Nepal border.
China is making all-out efforts to search for missing Chinese and foreign nationals, Guo said.
Chinese authorities are also maintaining close communication with foreign embassies in China to jointly verify information about missing foreign nationals and handle follow-up matters, he added.
