J&T Global Express Ltd reported on Thursday that its adjusted net profit surged 124.3 percent year-on-year to $350.6 million in the first half of 2026, driven by robust parcel volume growth across Southeast Asia and other key markets.

The Hong Kong stock exchange-listed logistics firm's revenue climbed 39.5 percent year-on-year to $7.67 billion between January and June, while total parcel volume increased 25.1 percent to 17.5 billion, said J&T Express in its financial report.

Meanwhile, Southeast Asia continued to lead growth, with parcel volume surging 71.2 percent on a yearly basis to 5.52 billion. The company has held the top market share in the region for six straight years, according to consultancy Frost & Sullivan.

J&T Express' parcel volume rose 9.6 percent year-on-year to 11.615 billion during the January-June period in China, with market share expanding 0.5 percentage points to 11.6 percent. The company has rolled out over 1,900 unmanned delivery vehicles across its domestic network and accelerated the adoption of artificial intelligence solutions to boost efficiency.

Other markets, including Latin America and the Middle East, saw parcel volume jump 119.9 percent on a yearly basis to 365 million in the first half. The market share in these regions climbed solidly to 8.9 percent from 6.2 percent same period a year ago, according to Frost & Sullivan's data.

J&T Express has been actively pushing to expand beyond platform-driven e-commerce deliveries. The company now offers same-day and next-day services for non-platform clients such as chain brands and individual shippers.

"Looking ahead, we will tailor our approach to the development stage of each market, stay guided by customer needs, continue to refine service quality, capture opportunities from global expansion," said Charles Hou, group vice-president of J&T Express.
