An intelligent traffic management robot directs vehicles in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, on Thursday. The robot, fitted with a black police cap and fluorescent yellow-green reflective clothing, is the city's first traffic management robot and is currently in a trial phase. Equipped for tasks like routine patrols, violation detection, voice guidance and road safety education, it can operate continuously for eight to nine hours daily, effectively bolstering traffic control during nighttime and peak hours.
