Guangzhou transport platform reports strong growth
The Guangzhou-based mobile transportation platform OnTime reported a dramatic increase in its revenues in mobility and technology services in its mid-2026 performance report.
The Hong Kong-listed company's total revenue reached 4.04 billion yuan ($600 million) in the first six months of the year, marking a year-on-year increase of 140.7 percent, according to the report.
The company's total number of mobility orders reached 184 million in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 150.6 percent, with daily orders surpassing the one-million mark.
Additionally, its revenue from technology services saw a significant year-on-year increase of 274.4 percent to surpass 100 million yuan in the first six months, demonstrating a trend of strong growth, improved profitability and optimized business structure.
The company's technology service encompasses the entire chain of data collection, processing, and standardized delivery. In June, OnTime launched an embodied intelligence data platform, further expanding its AI data services into high-growth emerging fields like large model training.
The company, based in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, has been operating over 550 robotaxi vehicles, with its regular robotaxi services expanding to other cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
