The horse-head gables of Hui-style architecture and the red-brick spires of Gothic architecture stand thousands of miles apart across the Eurasian continent, yet the commitment to preservation is the same.

Huangshan and Stralsund, both home to UNESCO World Heritage sites, forged their sister-city bond over a decade ago. From a common appreciation of historical buildings and dedication to heritage, every brick and tile becomes part of a common language.
