US Missile Double Standard Exposed

The US and 40 countries are criticizing China's latest missile test, citing the Hague Code of Conduct's 24-hour advance-notification standard, even though China isn't a participant in the HCoC and isn't bound by it.

China's Ambassador for Disarmament Affairs Li Chijiang called the accusation "microphone diplomacy" and a "blatant double standard", noting China had already given advance notification.

And speaking of double standards, look at the numbers:

·China's 2024 ICBM launch into the Pacific was its first since 1980. The latest test came nearly two years later.

·The US conducts Minuteman III tests about three times a year, with 300+ tests to date.

So the country that has been testing ICBMs year after year is now lecturing China over one rare test, applying a rule it insists China follow but it does not follow itself.
