Sichuan panda center livestreams birthing season enrichment event

Bamboo items with different functions were used for environmental and food enrichment, including hats, baskets, tables, chairs, and wind chimes, along with wooden boat toys and nutritious fruit and vegetable meals.
According to the center, these measures help stimulate the pandas' natural instincts for exploration, climbing, and foraging. The activities were customized for each panda based on their growth patterns, behavioral habits, and health status, so that every one of them gets to enjoy the fun.
First held in 2023, the annual event also aims to raise public awareness of biodiversity protection and ecological conservation, the center said.
