BRI project commended for outstanding CSR practices

The "Jejak Alam dalam Kain" (Footprints of Nature in Fabric) ecoprint project won silver in the Economic Empowerment category. Since launching in 2022, it has helped women's groups in Matansala and Bahomakmur villages in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi province, utilize natural materials such as leaves, flowers and mangrove fruits to produce ecoprint products and help develop local specialty handicraft industries.

To date, the project has fostered two ecoprint groups with a total of 27 members, according to IMIP. The park has supported the local community in enhancing its independent development capacity through skill training, production equipment provision, product packaging improvement, operational management optimization and market channel expansion. From 2024 to 2025, one group's sales volume jumped 97 percent, with per capita revenue up by approximately 213 percent.

The "Gerakan Masyarakat Sehat" (Healthy Community Movement) project won the bronze award in the Health Quality Improvement category, providing health education, free checkups and primary healthcare facility improvements in several villages around the park, offering blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol and uric acid tests, as well as physician consultations. In 2025, the project delivered health education to 812 people, renovated two primary healthcare facilities and supplied 19 types of medical equipment to 10 primary healthcare institutions.
