China open to law enforcement dialogue and cooperation with US

China is open to enhancing dialogue and communication with the United States law enforcement authorities, and stands ready to engage in law enforcement cooperation with Washington in the spirit of equality, respect and mutual benefit, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

The ministry's spokesman Lin Jian made the remarks after the US FBI Director Kash Patel said he hoped to gain allies in combating transnational crimes with China and Russia.
