China's electric vehicle charging infrastructure saw rapid expansion in the first half of 2026, with total charging facilities reaching 23.06 million by the end of June, up 43.2 percent year-on-year, according to the National Energy Administration.
Guiyang prepares to host big data expo
More than 40 new achievements will be unveiled at the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2026, in areas that include the coordinated development of computing power and electricity, data circulation and generative artificial intelligence. The National Data Administration said the achievements will be unveiled by leading companies and industry associations during the expo, which opens on Aug 28 in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.
